Supporting the Scottish Golf Young Leaders Programme

We are proud to be supporting the Scottish Golf Young Leaders programme, an innovative initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of golfers.

This programme is designed for young adults aged 16 to 24, providing them with an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of golf across Scotland. Scottish Golf believe that young golfers possess invaluable, first-hand experience of the sport. Their voices bring fresh perspectives and can drive significant change, offering new ideas, insightful viewpoints, and passionate opinions that will shape the future of golf for young people.

About the Young Leaders Programme

Running from January 2025 to September 2026, the Young Leaders programme provides young adults with a platform to positively influence the sport of golf. Participants will have access to a range of learning and development opportunities tailored to their skills, interests, and passions, while being actively involved in advancing the sport.

Through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, the programme will foster the development of essential skills such as leadership, interpersonal communication, and confidence. These capabilities will enable participants to inspire change and make a lasting impact within the golfing community.
