Dancing between Energies

This weekend, I found myself rocking out at the Brandi Carlile gig at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The venue? Absolutely breathtaking. The music? Even better. It was an unforgettable night, bursting with energy, emotion, and connection.
Such a contrast to the weekend before — where I spent time at the local farmers market, enjoying slow dinners with family, and swimming in my favourite outdoor spot near my Highland home. I love this too.
Two very different kinds of energy. Both deeply fulfilling in their own way. Was it one or the other that sparked something in me? Or was it the balance between the two that unlocked a wave of creativity?
Brandi’s performance was more than a gig — it was a celebration of truth, ambition, and empowerment. I was struck by the individuality of each band member and the strength they shared as a collective. They live their values out loud while supporting each other and lifting others up along the way. If you get the chance to see the tour — do it. I would love to go again.
This blend of experiences got me thinking: balance isn’t about choosing one state over another. It’s about creating space for both. High energy and calm. Outward connection and inward reflection. Structured plans and spontaneous inspiration.
I come from a family of creative souls — fashion designers (I include one of my nieces in this and have no doubt the other will be bursting with creativity as she grows), artists (my nephew did an amazing painting of flowers recently. I’m after a print. He takes after his auntie, my sister for sure ), writers, musicians, cooks, and perhaps some amateur interior designers thrown in for good measure. Creativity is in our blood. And I truly believe it's in all of us and you.
That belief is what led us to create one of our most loved offerings: a creativity workshop experience. It’s playful, a little vulnerable, and incredibly rewarding. Whether you're exploring individually or creating with others, something magical happens when you give yourself permission to play, experiment, and express.
Curious? I always am.
So let me ask you — what sparks your creativity? I’d love to hear from you.
