Adventures, Paths and Possibilities

16 years ago today I was in Fiji and looking ahead to the Cook Islands. I arrived back from Italy on Tuesday. This morning I enjoyed a dook in Millport with my sister.
I’m an adventurer. It’s part of who I am—personally and professionally. I’ve reconnected with this part of me and loving it. I thrive on exploring new places, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and learning new things along the way.
July has been full of adventures—each one offering me time and space to reflect, recharge, and be creative. It’s in these moments of movement and discovery that I often find clarity, not just for myself, but for how I show up in my work.
It has me thinking: How do we support people on their own adventures?
How do we walk alongside them as they navigate from where they are now to where they want to be?
Along any journey, there are roles to play.
Who’s the driver?
Who’s the passenger?
Who do we meet along the way?
What opportunities do we take?
Which paths do we follow—and which do we create for ourselves?
In my own life, I want to keep exploring and taking new routes, especially the ones that aren’t always on the map.
In my work, I aim to meet people where they are, walk alongside them, and empower them as they chart their course forward. It’s about their direction, their choices, and their goals.
I'm excited for my next adventure—and just as excited for yours.
